In the last 6 months,189,698 vehicles have registered to use the Tele Birr application

Addis Ababa 22/02/2023 (MOTRI) The Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration has reviewed the implementation of the sector's half fiscal year plan with the stakeholders of the sector. It is understood from the report that many achievements have been made in the last 6 months on the evaluation platform.

This has been trusted by the government and the Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration has signed a memorandum of understanding with Ethiotelecom to allow the use of the Tele Bir application method.

After this agreement, the same technology is currently being implemented in the discussions with the stakeholders to implement the Tele Birr application in the whole country. The Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration has been making efforts to ensure that the system is managed with good discipline. The efforts made have been fruitful and it can be understood from the report that 189,698 vehicles have been registered to benefit from the service in the last 6 months.
