The Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration has developed a framework for the implementation of integrated technical regulations to ensure the quality of products and services

The Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration  has signed a memorandum of understanding with regulatory institutions to ensure that products and services are being produced and provided according to the standards.

The Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration  , Ato Gebremeskel Chala, said that the government is implementing many new modern procedures to make the trade and customs system international-standard, competitive and profitable.

In addition to building quality infrastructure centers to increase Ethiopia's production and service level, the minister mentioned that large-scale capacity building is being done with manpower and resources. The minister pointed out that the cooperation agreement is important because we can ensure that products and services are produced and provided according to the standards issued by a country without the control of technical regulations and protect the interests of the country.

It has been stated that the cooperation agreement will have a significant contribution by creating transparency for the supervised institution in addition to eliminating overlap of duties and responsibilities, duplication of laws, waste of resources, responsibility and accountability system.
